She has made vast improvements regarding her reactivity and is more polite with our dogs.
The Belgian Malinois is simply not a breed for the inexperienced – Ava’s not even 8 months old and her prey drive is insane 😵💫 I’m mighty glad she will be conditioned to an e collar.
These dogs by nature have to be taught to think before they act, and do everything at 100mph 🏎️
Most of Ava’s poor behaviours came from the fact she is a frustrated young Mali who leaps at anything that moves!
However, she makes up for this by being cuddly, eager to learn, clever and extremely biddable.
I look forward to seeing what we can achieve in the remaining few weeks 🤓
