The CaniSocial Gang

4 very different dogs (each with their own strengths & weaknesses) who each offer something different to the complex skill that is correct dog-dog socialisation.

People assume that the three GSDs will be very similar, but that couldn’t be further from the truth!

Panzer (half show line, half working line) is lower energy than the other two and is also more aloof. She has obscenely high food drive and has some creepy human qualities too 😂 Panzer has a medical condition called Endocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency – we are on a weight gain journey at the moment and she needs a capsule of enzymes with every meal.

Hannya is a bouncy, friendly working line GSD 🦘 she loves toys and bitework. Hannya is from the same kennel as Ava – the two are really alike despite being different breeds.

Nina is the highest drive of our 3 shepherds but is, in some situations, the least social. She keeps herself to herself when it comes to new people & dogs, but it’s not hard to access her inner circle 👅

All our dogs have excellent obedience, body language skills & neutrality and are therefore vital for our socialisation training – a boisterous puppy is normally paired with Panzer, and a shy dog normally ends up making friends with Nina because she initially naturally gives space 🥰
