Puppy Board & Train
Learn about our specialist board & train programme for puppies
Do you feel overwhelmed with everything you need to teach your new puppy? Are you unsure if you have the time or the knowledge to do it correctly?
A bespoke residential stay tailored around your puppy's specific needs
Leave your puppy’s foundational training entirely to the experts with our popular Puppy Board & Train service. During their stay, your puppy will live with us & our dogs in our home, being taught all the things we’d teach a puppy of our own. From crate training to toilet training and from early recall to correct socialisation, puppy training is a 24/7 role which can seem daunting at times.
Once you’ve collected your puppy, you can bring them to us safe in the knowledge that the hard work will be done for you.
We specialise in socialisation, so your puppy will spend a healthy amount of time around other dogs, preparing you for brilliant walks later.
Providing a unique opportunity to have the foundations trained by the experts
Here are just some of the different aspects of puppy training that your new family member will learn during their stay with us.
Socialisation & neutrality
Confidence building
Play & relationship
Toilet training
Crate training
Wellbeing & genetics
Each stay is a bespoke experience, meaning every puppy will have a unique journey with us
However, all puppies will learn essential life skills such as toilet training & crate training.
Your puppy’s days will consist of socialisation time with our dogs, going out & about with us to see the world in a safe & fun way, plenty of toilet breaks, early recall development and quality rest.
We will teach your puppy a variety of foundational skills at their pace, meaning most of the hard work is done for you. We prepare your puppy for a lifetime of good behaviour & making memories.
We're proud to introduce

Want to learn more?
We’ve created this FAQ section to answer some of the most commonly asked questions about our puppy board & train programme.
What is the minimum age requirement for a puppy residential stay?
A Puppy Board & Train programme can be undertaken from 8-16 weeks old.
Please note we do not collect puppies from their place of origin e.g. a breeder or shelter.
What about puppies older than 16 weeks?
If your puppy is older than 16 weeks, you can do 1:1 lessons or, if appropriate, a Socialisation Board & Train.
Where will my puppy sleep?
Your puppy will sleep in a crate with bedding in our own home, alongside our personal dogs.
They will also be crated when unsupervised to prevent undesirable behaviour in the home and in the name of safety.
How much training will my puppy have per day?
Puppies are always learning so every time they are with us, they are learning a new skill.
However, puppies also need plenty of rest in order to grow (and so they’re not too tired for learning!).
Depending on the energy levels of your puppy, they will spend approximately half of every day actively & passively learning something new, whilst having the most fun possible.
Can you store raw food?
We can not only store raw food (all our dogs are fed a raw diet) but we can also help transition your puppy to raw food.
We highly recommend a raw diet for your puppy and transitioning is not as complicated as you’d think!
Will you be able to improve problem behaviours such as mouthing, toileting inside and pulling on the lead?
We want to give your puppy the best possible start in life, so we resolve as many problem behaviours as is fair to expect with a puppy. However, it is unfair to expect perfect obedience & behaviours of long duration from a puppy, hence why this programme is designed for foundational training only.
How much is the puppy board & train?
A 2-week puppy board & train programme is £1000
A 3-week puppy board & train programme is £2000
A 4-week puppy board & train programme is £2600
You do not need to attend a consultation before enrolling on this programme, but proof of your puppy’s age must be provided before enrolling.
What support will there be following a puppy board & train?
Upon successful completion of your training, you are welcome to attend socialisation walks to maintain your new skills.
